Capital Professionals is pleased to be partnered with a national full service transportation and logistics provider with offices in the Dallas/t Worth, TX market that is search of a Transportation Account Executive. Our client is on a rapid growth plan and is seeking motivated sales and logistics professionals. These individuals will become part of the companies winning family orientated team and receive a salary, benefits, commission and all the resources necessary to be successful. Job Qualifications
1. Superior interpersonal and communication skills. Problem solving and decision making skills.
2. 3-5 years’ transportation or logistics experience, preferably in a freight brokerage.
3. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
4. Growth and Results oriented; desire to be in leadership/management position.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years direct sales experience, ideally selling products or services into the 3rd Party Logistics industry. He/she will have learned best practices in account planning, direct marketing, and transaction selling and personal communications in a fast paced, customer service sales organization.

Accordingly, he/she must be a high energy self-starter, be goal and achievement driven, team oriented and be highly self-motivated. The track record in his/her business career and in outside interests must demonstrate a pattern of setting and achieving high personal standards of performance in all areas of endeavor.

Essential Functions
1. Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and profit objectives
2. Maintain current client relationships. Establish rapport and build relationships with potential clients and implement new accounts.
3. Coach and motivate a team of logistics professionals.
4. Update and maintain Transportation Management System. Load freight data into logistics software, produce load plan, and execute.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, partner vendors and team members.
6. Anticipate and resolve potential customer service, partner vendor, and internal team issues.
7. Management and coordination of shipments. Track and trace all shipments.
8. Establish and confirm rates with customers.
9. Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution.
10. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
